Yesterday was one of those days that just felt like I was in a daze…all day. It was Tuesday, yet it felt like Monday. I had a headache that I just couldn’t kick (maybe it was ALL the rose I drank Monday) and trying to make myself look presentable was the ultimate challenge. On a day like yesterday I had to keep it simple + classic with my go-to: denim.

Last week I had the pleasure of stopping by the Twice offices to take first dibs of their brand new handbag collection. Minus the challenging parking situation the Twice HQ made me feel as if I was Carrie Bradshaw entering the Vogue accessories closet. We are talking some major designer brands in great condition.
The choice was hard, but I decided to go home with this L.A.M.B tote. The moment I laid my eyes on this bad boy I knew it would be perfect for my lifestyle + the ombré style made just the right statement.
These days working from cafes means loading my work life into my bag, so the size of the L.A.M.B. tote was spot on. My everyday essentials include: my laptop, camera, sunglasses, makeup, flat shoes, a layering piece, dog treats + sometimes a dog.
My day can take me from the park to a cafe to an event so I need to be dressed for it all. This look consists of a lot of my everyday basics: black bodysuit, white pants (even after labor day), hat + pumps. Not shown are the black loafers hidden in my bag for battling the infamous San Francisco hills. All of my essentials fit in the bag + I let the bag serve as the pop of color for this everyday look.

Last night I had a pretty magical night with my city. Maybe it was the white wine, maybe it was the Bay Bridge light show, but I found myself falling in love with San Francisco all over again. I decided to shoot my look a little late in the day but I couldn’t resist + this look was filled with some of my favorite go-to pieces. I pretty much live in American Eagle denim shorts all summer. There is something about the fit that keeps me coming back each year. This jacket from San Francisco favorite Marine Layer has also been in heavy rotation all sumer. It is the perfect weight + the pockets are essential for dog walking without a purse. Not shown was the mega shoe swap I made before we took these pictures. I went from Birkenstocks to Mary-Jane pumps in 30 seconds flat (thanks Caity). The pumps were only worn for the pictures + went back into my purse for my walk home along the bay.
Last night I had the pleasure of partying with some of my favorite people in San Francisco to celebrate the new 2.0 update to the Poshmark app. If you know me, you know that I love love love me some Poshmark. This summer I have taken my love for the Poshmark app into full force, thanks to fun-employment + my overflowing closet! The new update introduces PoshMatch. PoshMatch is a new shopping feed that constantly updates to reflect what you + your network are styling. I played around with the new update last night + could not be a bigger fan!
Poshmark founder + CEO Manish shares some of the new updates with the party including the ability to follow your favorite brands.
The Bar Agricole garden served as the perfect spot to celebrate the new app update, sip on some wine + catch up with fellow Poshers.
When a dress that is built to make you look + feel like a goddess arrives at your doorstep, you put that bad boy on (especially when it is your birthday). This dress is pure MAGIC. Designed by the mega-talented Jenny Cheng this dress gave me just what I needed to welcome in the big 28. Made of semi scuba-like material with sexy sheer silk paneling on the top this dress is the perfect piece for me to take from day to night on my big day.
