I don’t normally walk around with ALL of my crossbody handbags on at once. BUT, crossbody bags are hugely popular right now (when are they not) and are great for a number of reasons. They allow you to carry your essentials without hefting around a giant purse, the style is easily dressed up or worn very casually, they’re easy to carry since you wear them across your body, and they come in a million different varieties.
They are a MUST for a lady on the go. I own at least 20 different crossbody bags in various colors and styles. A crossbody bag is perfect for the dreaded tinder date or a fabulous summer music festival…just not when you wear them all at once!

Uniqlo has been a wardrobe staple destination for me since they set up shop on Powell Street in San Francisco’s Union Square. The rainbow staircase and endless selection of t-shirts and leggings immediately gave Uniqlo the key to my heart.
Now let’s talk jeans! Denim after 30 is not cute and is 100% not fun. In fact, the size of my hips these days has lead to me to just be thankful for the moment I actually get jeans past my hips. So when Uniqlo offered to send me a pair of jeans I was open to it…but skeptical. When I saw the size of the jeans they sent me I nearly passed out. My weight has been yoyoing professionally since I had mono in the fall and I feel like I just can’t get to where I want to be and stay there (that could also be due to the fact that I 100% cheated on the Whole 30 diet – twice). So when I got these Uniqlo jeans past my hips and all the way on I wanted to cry – but instead I text 20 of my closest friends to celebrate. The fabric blend of 79% Cotton, 10% Rayon, 7% Polyester, 4% Spandex does magical things to the lower half of my body. These amazingly flattering ultra-stretch jeans feature a cut-off design and a stretch fabric that moves with you. But the layering of shades of winter white are far too appealing and cozy to avoid for fear of getting dirty. There are no rules with winter white (forget the white after Labor Day rule – PLEASE). The shades do not need to match. Mix rich fabrics with texture and fringe, throw on a glittery heel and you are good-to-go.
Turtlenecks are a winter staple that no one should bear the season without, and I am going to prove to you exactly why. Since looking stylish while managing the cold temperatures is rather challenging (so many layers!), I’ve found that turtlenecks of all shapes and sizes can be our best friend.
For this look, I took one of my favorite (super slim) turtlenecks from Amour Vert + layered it under this & Other Stories a-line dress. Since this knit turtleneck is fine enough, the warm-weather top makes an absolute perfect layering piece to add warmth to a once summery look.
