A Night in the Mission

Shop life has proven to be very fun + smooth sailing so far. Because of this I decided to venture out to the mission once we closed our doors at 6 pm last night. The team at Everlane hosted an open studio event and I was very curious to check out their space!

Now, their space did not disappoint. I am pretty sure that everyone who walked in immediately wanted to work/live there + I am pretty sure every attractive person in San Francisco was in attendance. This event was also packed! So packed that I failed to take any pictures because the thought of reaching for my camera from my purse made me very nervous!

So this was not the outfit I started the day in…I spent my entire day staring at this dress and decided that since I WAS going to an event I needed to wear something new from the shop (insert my 2nd purchase of the day). So I threw it on + headed to the mission!

Caftans + Sundaes

Caftans + sundaes are not necessarily a traditional match made in heaven, but starting next week they are!

I am very excited to share that Les Méchantes is opening our very first store at Ghirardelli Square (the land of ALL the ice cream sundaes) in San Francisco. In addition to a brand new store, we are also releasing a brand new collection of caftans from our private label. I am so excited to share this collection and think that we have really stepped up our game!

Off With The Hair With An Off The Shoulder Top

Yes, my hair has managed to get shorter and shorter this year. It is insane, but my poor hair is still suffering from the blue phase! However, lucky for me Nicole from Tailored Salon has decided to take my limp locks under her wing + help me get my hair back to normal (more to come on this process).

Now, let’s talk about this killer top from fashionista favorite brand, Reformation. Off the shoulder tops are a top trend this summer and while I normally try to stray away from styling to the trends, this is a trend that I am all about!

Who here remembers Loehmann’s?

I used to be obsessed with Loehmann’s. I would scrap together all my cash (maybe my Dad’s credit card) and cut high school JUST to go to Loehmann’s. The Loehmann’s in San Francisco was filled with three floors of designer deals + I could easily spend an entire day there hunting for the perfect piece-insert this Moschino bolero jacket. I have easily had this jacket for 10 plus years + continue to find ways to style it.

But, now that Loehmann’s is gone, where will we find our designer deals?

Unclutter with Twice

Last week I decided to give my apartment a major overhaul! I have lived in my studio apartment for almost 6 years and I have managed to hoard all the knick knacks! With the help of my mom, I managed to fill up all the garbage bags, get organized and give my apartment the ‘Adult’ look I have been yearning for!

But, I was left with all the garbage bags! If you have followed along here you know that I love to sell my clothes (insert Poshmark), so I wasn’t just going to let my home goods go to waste! Lucky for me Twice set up a pop-up shop here in San Francisco where you can sell your clothing, home goods, electronics, sporting goods and more! So, I decided to haul my garbage bags over to the pop-up and see what I could cash in!

With Benji by my side and sporting this Milly for DesigNation (buy everything online now on super sale) set we ventured over to the pop-up in the Castro to drop off our goods. I signed in and the Twice team quickly took my goods and I was good to go. The next day I received an email with my offer and BAM the cash was venmo-ed into my account!

I was so inspired by the easy breezy process that I gathered up even more stuff the next day and called a postmates courier over (for free) and sold even more!
