My love for Original Joe’s is REAL.
From the hamburger sandwich (on fresh sourdough) to ALL the EXTRA dirty martinis at the bar, Original Joe’s is by far one of my favorite joints in the city to dine at (every other day).
Pro Tip: Order a side of creamed spinach instead of the spinach artichoke dip, break off a big old piece of their fresh sourdough bread
and
dip!

But I don’t hate this look and or her love for the maxi coat. There is something super chic + flattering about throwing a long maxi coat/jacket/sweater (in this case dress) over your outfit. It conceals my massive booty, instantly ties the look together and is a simple seasonless styling trick.

I hit up new-ish wine bar, Birba two weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with this Hayes Valley neighborhood gem. Hayes Valley is not my hood (insert North Beach), so it took a bit of convincing to even get my ass over there. This tiny spot features a unique wine list and a variety of tapas-style small plates.
Go for the wine, the food and complimentary killer entertainment from the owner, Angie.
I am obsessed with the Tepco China and vintage silverware from Spain…
and this table.
In fact, this table is now MY table when I dine at Birba.
The tuna conserva toast is every white girl’s fantasy.
I LITERALLY dream about it.
I’ve been talking about it so much that the Chef (my buddy Telmo) even offered to teach me how to make it.

San Francisco just got a hell of a lot cooler with the welcome edition of the Shinola store to Jackson Square.
The stores feature items like handcrafted watches, bicycles, journals, leather goods and pet accessories (perfect for Benji).
While I didn’t get any pictures of the actual store (more to come), the killer store design and American made products make this store a MUST when you are in the Jack Square neighborhood.
