A Le Tote Brunch

Every basic bitch loves brunch and I am proudly one of them! Last Saturday Le Tote hosted an oh-so fabulous brunch at Huxley. It was filled with gorgeous blogger babes, all the mimosas and all the Le Tote fashions.

The Le Tote team was kind enough to send over the chambray top + necklace that I am sporting in this look. I love a good chambray top and this bad boy is top notch. It is super soft and features a split back detail that makes this a piece that will be in heavy rotation in my wardrobe!

Now, what exactly is Le Tote?

Glad you asked! Le Tote is a service that allows you to rent unlimited clothing and accessories over the internet. If you enjoy your Le Tote membership, do nothing at the end of your month and your membership will automatically continue for as long as you chose to remain a member. Le Tote is a month-to-month subscription which begins at sign up. There are no long term contracts or cancellation fees and while I have no problem shopping, it is a great option for the gal on the go who needs a little style support!

Oh My God SHOES

In 2006 I was sitting in my bed (a bottom bunk in my college room in Santa Barbara) and watching the youtube video “Shoes” over + over again. I could pretty much sing the entire song by heart + found myself quoting the ridiculous lines from the video over + over again.

Fast forward nine years later and I still find the song to be just as entertaining and my addiction to shoe shopping is still going just as strong!

All the Spring Shoe trends seem to fall right up my alley + I have done quite a bit of shoe shopping lately, so I present to you a little shoe recap:

Oh My God Shoes!

These ledge track sole platforms from Topshop were my first shoe purchase with spring in mind. With sky high platforms all over the spring runways I knew these would be a perfect piece to add to my collection.

Heels are getting higher, with more than a little help from a solid platform and at a pretty painless $95.00 price tag these sky high shoes won’t break the bank, just your ankle!.

Lace up for Spring 2015 because the gladiator is beginning its reign and growing taller. My gladiator game is strong thanks to these bad boys from Zara. Now in a perfect world I would be sporting these perfect gems from Chloé, but my bank account said, NO!

Gold glitter pumps from Kurt Geiger?

In my book these are a YES year round. I will be wearing these non stop people!

With boyfriend jeans + black tie gowns these bond pumps are a staple for any shoe lover.

Sophia Webster x J. Crew is always a good idea.

After some major cyber stalking I found (Yes, another pair) of gold glitter pumps.

A solo trip to New York Called for some shopping and these boots were one of my favorite finds. Ombré leopard booties are classic in my book.

While these boots were a winter find, I had to share them again due to the fact that they are on mega sale now on Nasty Gal! Go straight to the Nasty Gal site + snag these bad boys before they sell out.

Stan Smiths and all of the anklets ALL DAY, EVERYDAY.

And even Benji has managed to get his paws into some Nike, Blazer vintage sneakers. We both vote for comfort + will be sporting these bad boys when we are avoiding all the glittery gold pumps!

Advanced Style

According to Advanced Style creator, Ari Seth Cohen “Advanced Style offers proof from the wise and silver-haired set that personal style advances with age,” and I couldn’t agree more. I am obsessed with his instagram feed + am constantly inspired by his photos.

This look is what I imagine I will still be wearing 40 years from now in my retirement community in Palm Springs. I want to be wearing all the caftans, all the missoni and all the pucci headscarfs-Now + Forever!

I am REALLY into these shoes right now! They may not fall under the ‘advanced style’ category, but I just found them on mega sale on 6pm.com!

Spring Has Sprung

The calendar says that Spring is here + San Francisco got the memo. The weather has been fantastic and has urged me to break out all of my spring apparel (insert anything and everything pastel colored). But in true San Francisco fashion the weather took a turn half way into this shoot + the wind took over (insert me changing into leggings and sneakers).

Nothing screams SPRING more than chunky sage colored platform shoes, right? I am so obsessed with these shoes right now, however they may just be the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet! I have now worn them twice and have quickly learned that these shoes are only meant to be worn at my final destination (insert commuter flats in my purse).

Take Me Out To The Yard

This week has been quite the whirlwind! Les Méchantes hosted a blogger brunch on Sunday

&

Anything + Everything after that is a blur.

Without skipping a beat post-Blogger brunch we threw together our first long term pop up at The Yard at Mission Rock. It was a pretty big ASS deal for us and not an easy task. This look is from ‘press day’ when I actually put on clothes (and not sweats) and I am pretty sure this is going to be my uniform for the next 6 weeks.

Yep, I broke my camera lens! See that white chain link fence behind me? I caught my heel in the chain and face planted onto my camera (insert big bruise on my stomach from where I landed).

So it has been quite the week, but in the end everything came together and I could not be more excited!
