Merci

After several recommendations to visit Merci, I challenged the rain today and made my way to by far one of the coolest stores I have ever experienced. I have read several posts about this store, but you really can’t even imagine it until you are there. For those of you not in Paris, imagine an incredible mix between Barneys and Anthroplogie, but with the profits going to charity. I spent my day browsing through this fully interactive loft space of home decor, men’s and women’s ready to wear, used books, dog clothes and an incredible selection of jewelry.

(Bloody) Marys & Missoni

After a lush afternoon in Harry’s Bar, we walked the streets of Paris only to be stopped in our tracks by a small shop full of Missoni. Discounted Missoni.

Our lovely shop owner, with cigar in mouth and Bluetooth in ear, showed us every item in the store, making sure I would leave with at least one thing. And I did.

Because of his longstanding relationship with the Missoni family, he’s able to sell the entire collection at a discount.

Allude – Paris Fashion Week

I was invited to the Allude Spring/Summer 2013 show this year for Paris Fashion Week. I was drawn to the visor sunglasses that started the show and the mesh materials/bright colors. Here are my faves:

Chiatzy Chen – Paris Fashion Week

I had the pleasure of attending the Shiatzy Chen Spring/Summer 2013 show this year in Paris for Fashion Week.

From Taiwan and founded in 1978, Shiatzy Chen blends traditional Chinese themes and images into modern design.

Here are some of my favorites from the event:
