Am I a ride or die bitch? Probably not. There just happened to be a motorcycle parked right outside of the Les Mechantes office earlier in the week + it served as the perfect backdrop for this shoot. Indian Summer has arrived in San Francisco + I was actually quite hot in this look at 6pm! This flannel saved me during Outsidelands + is now in constant rotation in my wardrobe. Paired with a Goorin Bros. hat + chunky boots from Cat Footwear I am ready for this Indian Summer to come to an end + welcoming Fall with open arms!
What I Wore:
Top: Sanctuary (c/o), ‘Nevermind’ Cotton Tunic Dress, Vest: Gap, 1969 Denim Vest, Shorts: American Eagle, Destroyed Midi Short, Hat: Goorin Bros., Queen of Knives, Shoes: Cat Footwear (c/o), Tennille, Sunglasses: RayBan, Original Wayfarer Sunglasses, Watch: TAG via Poshmark, Bracelet: Kamryn Dame
This blazer is the latest addition to my wardrobe thanks to a VERY early morning at Target. Every couple months Target launches a new designer collaboration collection + every couple months I get up at the crack of dawn with my Mother and shop the collection. I couldn’t wait to style this blazer + decided to really play up the masculine tuxedo feel of the blazer and pair it with an oversized bow tie + white oxford shoes.
Life lately has lead me all over the city for my new project, Les Mechantes. Follow along on our new instagram account here, as we prepare for our early November launch!
A BBQ joint just happened to be right next door to our afternoon meeting. So the blazer came off!
What I Wore:
Jacket: Altuzarra for Target, Velvet Blazer (Ruby Hill), Tank: J. Crew, Favorite Tank, Jeans: Gap, 1969 Always Skinny Jeans, Bow Tie: ASOS, Oversized Bow Tie, Shoes: Prada (old). Shop new white oxfords here + here. Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim, Pashli Medium Leather Satchel, Sunglasses: Karen Walker, Betsy, Earrings: BaubleBar, Pearl 360 Studs, Ring: Alexis Bittar (old) Shop new from my Mr. Bittar here + here.
Maybe it is my Italian roots, maybe it is my champagne taste on a beer budget. Either way Mr. Valentino has a very special place in my heart.
Thanks to some savvy shopping I am lucky enough to own 2 pairs of Valentino shoes: The Tango Leather Pump + The Rockstud Ballerina Flat. I am proud to say that I did not purchase either pair full price + have nearly worn both to death due to their ability to jazz up every look. Are you in the market for a new pair of Valentino kicks, but on a mega-budget like me? Check out the latest styles from Valentino here on Lyst. They have taken the time to pick the latest styles + even alert you when things go on sale!
The Tango Leather Pumps have taken me all around town! Paired with a white dress for San Jose fashion week, the red pumps helped me take a white dress (after labor day) into fall. Styled with denim shorts + a striped tee the pumps took my summer day look into night on the Embarcadero. The last look is a bit of a blast from the past from a coffee date in North Beach. A black poncho, printed pants + red pumps for the final POP of color.
Selecting just 3 looks featuring The Rockstud Ballerina Flat was not easy. Do I really wear these that much? The first is from a recent evening in the park. Styled with my printed trench I was ready for a walk in the park. The second look is a bit more edgy with a vegan leather skirt + ruffled blouse. The last is yet another blast from the past! Am I channeling Carry Bradshaw or what?
Clearly I have had a ton of fun styling these kicks. Shop the latest + greatest from Mr. Valentino here + don’t forget to take advantage of the sale alerts too!
