A trip to LA calls for a white midi dress…right? Regardless of the season I feel like white always works in LA. This dress was quite the conversation starter yesterday due to the fact that it could easily be mistaken for a lab coat/nurse uniform. Lucky for me I wore this dress to dinner with old friends where the jokes did not stop!
Now no look is complete in my book without my signature Karen Walker Betsy sunglasses in CRAZY tortoise. A couple of years ago a co-worker told me that I dressed like it was Halloween everyday. I am pretty sure it was a dig, but I took it as a compliment. I have never been one to ‘Dress Normal,’ so I found it quite entertaining that just a couple months after I left Gap they launched the ‘Dress Normal’ campaign.
This look is nearly all Gap, even the baby Lil Wayne tee + I am pretty sure this is not where they were going with the ‘Dress Normal’ campaign! I do have to give to Gap though. I am a huge fan of these destroyed skinny jeans from the new collection + can not get enough of Banana’s new D’Orsay pump. What do you think of the new campaign? Will you be ‘normal’ this fall?
While the weather in San Francisco is forever unpredictable, the past couple weeks have been unreal. Indian summer is in full effect + Fall Fashion is not an option.
Yesterday I decided to at least embrace a fall color palette…and white denim shorts. My new ‘Stan Smith‘ kicks had just arrived + I was dying to style them. My recent career change has lead to an easy breezy walking commute. Benji + I meet Ash a couple blocks down the street and then walk along the Bay. It is about a 30 minute walk + the perfect start to my day. The new walk deserves new shoes, right?
Benji waits impatiently on the sidelines + does his best to ‘protect’ the bags while Caity + I shoot.
