KatWalkSF San Francisco SummerSummer in San Francisco is usually filled with foggy days + very little sun, so when the sun comes out to play mid-February people loose their minds!

Yesterday was one of those rare sunny days in San Francisco + I took full advantage of it. I broke out a kaftan, a fancy turkish towel + a book and spent the entire day lounging by the pool, in style.

This look was effortless + most importantly comfortable! I paired my red dress with some classic black and gold accessories + called it a day.

KatWalkSF CamoNow that my weave is finally back in order, I can play around with some different hair styles. I could not be more pleased to be back to blonde, but the process was not easy + my poor hair is still suffering! To offset some of the damage I am following a very strict regiment thanks to the hair gods over at Salon A7 + doing my best to avoid damaging it any more!

Yesterday I decided to curl my not so clean weave. I started with two french braids + finished them off with a couple of twirls of the curling rod (which I know I shouldn’t have even turned on)!

This look consists heavily of closet staples that I have worn over + over again. I mean, this Camo jacket has been on repeat since my friends at Sanctuary sent it over last summer! I think the only new item are my shoes! Yes, I know I needed a new pair of shoes (NOT), but they are too fabulous + on mega sale….so it was OK, right?

#TheNewBR sloan pants#thenewBR is everything we wished Banana Republic was for the past 10 years. I can not tell you how many fantastic pieces I have scored over the past couple of months since their relaunch with Marissa Webb (and if you don’t follow her on instagram do it right this minute).

A couple of months ago I attended a launch party for Banana (check out the post here) and since then I have become a regular Banana Republic shopper. Now, let’s talk about these pants! There are so many amazing features on these bad boys! The front are the perfect shade of winter white in vegan leather + the back features their signature Sloan contour stretch fabric in black. This fabric is magic (especially for the curvy ladies), it instantly refines + sculpts your figure. And the ankle zips! This feature makes styling these pants with several different shoe options too easy. I paired my pants with a basic black pump (also from Banana Republic) however because they come in different lengths they can easily be styled with flats too!

So, YES I am a major fan of these pants + YES they come in more options if white vegan leather pants are not for you!

J. Crew Monogram SkirtThe details in this outfit may be subtle (?), but I am pretty sure that they make the perfect statement.

I recently discovered that you can monogram pretty much anything on jcrew.com for $10. I mean their slogan is: The Monogram Shop-Where styles get personal. Given that, I decided to make things extra personal + monogram my name on my butt. Lucky for me, the three letters of my nickname, KAT work just perfectly at getting personal.

My second favorite detail of this look is on my top. The grosgrain ruffle ribbon takes this top from basic bitch white woven to THE BEST white woven ever. I scored this PRADA bad boy at a very intense Jeremys weekend sale. I may have thrown a couple of elbows to get it, but thank God I did!
