Big Bow Blazers + Maison Margiela Comes to SF

KatWalkSF Maison Martin Margiela SFLast week San Francisco gained a whole lot of fashion street cred thanks to the opening of the Maison Margiela store on Maiden Lane and I even managed to sneak away from the Les Méchantes pop up + attend the store opening party! I had an amazing time browsing all of the amazing fashions + chugging all the champagne with Allen, from the blog Sartorial Spotlight (insert silly instagram posts here + here).

The store design is near flawless + the jewelry selection left me dying to win the lotto!

San Francisco Festival Style

KatWalkSF Plaid CoatNope, I didn’t go to Coachella weekend 1 or weekend 2! I just decided to dress the part + prance around North Beach in all my festival gear.

I just snagged this coat from the Camp Collection, Spring Cleaning Blowout Sample Sale for $10! It is sold out now, but there are still a couple awesome pieces left! I paired the coat with my Zara gladiator sandals…and yes I know, they have been getting a lot of wear lately, but I love them and they somehow manage to make me feel cool at all times!

Did you attend Coachella or are you just sporting all the festival style around your hometown like me?

The Caped Crusader

KatWalkSF Cape
Last Sunday the Les Méchantes crew got all dolled up for an event honoring North Beach Citizens, a non-profit founded by Francis Ford Coppola. North Beach Citizens is a resource center that homeless and low-income residents can use as a base and a starting point to rebuild their lives and reconnect with their community.

North Beach finest and a few San Francisco celebrities attended the fab event in the basement of the oh-so famous St. Peter and Paul church. We snapped a few pictures with former San Francisco mayor, Willie Brown and our new best friend, George Lucas (not).

After a little research on google I learned that, “The Caped Crusader” is Batman and not a George Lucas film but oh-well! The name suited my outfit and he is officially NO fun!

JINS opens in SF

JINS and KatWalkSF

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of attending a sneak peek press event for JINS. JINS is a leader in crafting stylish, high-quality, and innovative eyewear at affordable prices. They opened their first U.S. flagship store in San Francisco on April 10, 2015. With a focus on reinventing the eyewear shopping experience, JINS stores provide a distinctive mix of highly personalized, honest service with an unprecedented level of speed and convenience to make the process of buying glasses fun and enjoyable.

Their “All-in-One” pricing prescription eyewear are priced between $60 and $120, including best-in-class aspheric lenses from Hoya Corporation, more than 1,200 different styles of frames offered in-store, with new seasonal styles added monthly!

Nope, I don’t wear prescription glasses but the team at JINS insisted that I still participate and snag a pair. I love these funky frames and they will be oh-so fun to style for a smarty-pants look!

The prescription glasses are prepared in-store within 30 minutes with the KANNA (an intricately-designed robot that edges high-quality, aspheric lenses on-site). The KANNA is basically a magic robot that makes glasses in < 30 minutes and this is no typical ‘waiting room.’ This place is decked out with some MAJOR interior decor moments and all the comfy seating, making a 30 minute wait simply a dream!

A Le Tote Brunch

Le Tote KatWalkSFEvery basic bitch loves brunch and I am proudly one of them! Last Saturday Le Tote hosted an oh-so fabulous brunch at Huxley. It was filled with gorgeous blogger babes, all the mimosas and all the Le Tote fashions.

The Le Tote team was kind enough to send over the chambray top + necklace that I am sporting in this look. I love a good chambray top and this bad boy is top notch. It is super soft and features a split back detail that makes this a piece that will be in heavy rotation in my wardrobe!

Now, what exactly is Le Tote?

Glad you asked! Le Tote is a service that allows you to rent unlimited clothing and accessories over the internet. If you enjoy your Le Tote membership, do nothing at the end of your month and your membership will automatically continue for as long as you chose to remain a member. Le Tote is a month-to-month subscription which begins at sign up. There are no long term contracts or cancellation fees and while I have no problem shopping, it is a great option for the gal on the go who needs a little style support!
