Another Designer Collaboration: Peter Pilotto

IMG_0805Is it bad that I didn’t know who Peter Pilotto was pre-target collaboration? Well…After a little bit of research and an 8am Target run with my Mom last Sunday, I now know who Peter is and I am a fan!

Print + Pumps

IMG_0681
The printed pant are a major trend this spring and a personal favorite of mine. This particular pant is part of the Boohoo #OwnIt collection. This collection is all about new shapes, pieces that you have to be seen in and the different ways to wear them. For this look I choose to downplay the printed pant with dark pieces on the top and a major pop of color with my shoes. These pants also have a matching top that I plan on styling later on in the week for a night out with the girls. What do you think about the printed pant trend? Will you be styling it for spring?

Bruno Mars: Super Bowl Style

IMG_0589For those of you who have followed KatWalkSF from the start you may remember that last year on the Super Bowl I fell and broke my ankle. The ankle break lead to several blog posts featuring a pink and then black cast and a very memorable trip to Mexico (on crutches) for a bachelorette party. So this year for the Super Bowl I decided to lay low at a friends house and focus on the fashion and not the keg!

Layers

IMG_0559

Is it cold? Is it warm? The weather in San Francisco is unpredictable to say the least. To keep somewhat comfortable throughout the day I do my best to dress in layers. For this look I layered a poncho/sweater over a dress. This allowed for me to get from point A to point B comfortably in the chilly SF weather (in my flats-not shown) and gave me the flexibility to remove a layer if needed once I arrived to my event.
