What To Wear In Wine Country

IMG_3059Almost two weeks in wine country has pretty much made me a wine country style expert. I nailed what to wear for a wine tasting in this post from last week and today I am sporting what every farmer in the Sonoma Valley is wearing…not!

A bolo tie is a must in wine country. It will earn you immediate street cred, especially if it has a steer + especially in Cloverdale.

A question I ask everyone and secretly wish everyone will ask me.

Last week I attended the annual Cal Trout auction. An event where no one cares about what you wear and everyone cares about saving the fishes.

Thanks to the Saks friends + family sale I scored this splurge worthy dress from french fashionista staple, Sandro. The down-to-there plunge details are fueling my obsession with this daring dress! Guaranteed to turn heads, this olive-hued stunner boasts noir-lace insets, + a flowing silhouette reined in by a tonal, ribbon belt. Paired with my chanel wedges…that I somehow found in my closet I was ready to answer the burning question, “What are you wearing?”

I love San Francisco like a fat kid loves cake…but every once in awhile you’ve got to get away from the city by the bay!

A 2 hour drive leaves a fussy San Franciscan in pure paradise.

And by pure paradise I mean Asti, California.

I am pretty sure there is nothing better in life then packing up the car + heading up north to Asti. After a very long 6 weeks managing the LM pop-up at The Yard at AT&T park we were all in some desperate need of some R&R.

So Ash, Benji and I packed up the prius + heading up to Asti (DLo is in Seattle doing all the shopping).

A Sunday by the pool, all the vino + a walk through DLo’s blooming rose garden solved ALL our problems!
