While this trend may be slightly terrifying, the creeper shoe is here and on nearly every fashionista.
Like the flatform (another Friday Forecast), creepers have a chunky and often lug sole. They’re heavy, geeky, and the number one footwear style popping up on the feet of fashion girls right now. Styles vary from clunky, ultra-high shoes to simple boyfriend inspired styles.
Will you be sporting creepers this season?
I dove into this trend, but with this very affordable pair.
…Frank is still on the fence.

The holiday season is FINALLY over, so now I can FINALLY catch up!
Instagram has been an easy platform for me to quickly share this holiday season + now I am catching up here with from some of my favorite looks + details!
This Reformation jumpsuit was a sample sale score that took me from day to night and all over the city in style. I also sported these Adam Lippes x Target pumps regularly! Who knew that $39 pumps could look so good?!
These bad boys are festive + the chunky heel allows for long wear (without attempting to cut off my feet).
Everything from this look was a favorite this holiday season. The jumpsuit was worn weekly, including when I fulfilled my lifelong dream of starring on the local news here in San Francisco for the Ghirardelli Square tree lighting!
I live alone. They don’t have a clasp. I wear them every freakin’ day!
A choker stack.
I stole the druzy choker off the designers neck (sorry, not sorry Marrin) + quickly picked up the thin choker when she introduced it to her new collection. I love to layer them together + the clasps are easy for a single lady to get on!
And since this post was almost all Les Méchantes I figured I might as well throw a discount out! Save 15% off all Les Méchantes purchases with the code: KATWALKSF15
With just four days left until Christmas, (insert meltdown) I partnered up with Hanes to share my Top 5 Tips to survive the holiday season!
5. Dress in Layers
This tip applies towards anyone + everyone, but especially in San Francisco. There is nothing like walking out of a warm + cozy heated home and into the cold without all the layers. I’m talking ALL the layers. In fact, I have been wearing a backpack in lieu of a purse just to house all of my layers!
With a patented contoured footbed with superior arch and heel support, dual-density cushioning, a cool and breathable lining, lightweight materials, and flexibility that moves with you, The Harding boots from Naturalizer are a freakin’ dream! In addition to being really comfortable, the exposed silver zipper and stacked heel make these a VERY fashionable bootie option!
3. Take care of yourself
Don’t let the chaos of the holiday season get the best of you + let you forget about yourself! I have been (trying) to work in as many workouts this season with Basecamp. As painful as it is to get up at 6 am every morning, the crew at Basecamp makes it pretty darn easy and you are in and out in 45 minutes!
I also recently noticed that my vision was not what it used to be!
-Insert me messaging guys the WRONG names on Bumble!-
So, I partnered up with Jins in Union Square to get my vision right. The 20/20 team is NOW offering in-house vision exams at the JINS store. This exam takes less than 15 minutes and costs $40! After the exam, I selected these green frames and had prescription glasses made and fitted in another 30 minutes!
Bam! No more ‘Bumble Blunders’ for me!
2. Shop YOUR Closet
There is no need to go out and buy a new outfit for every holiday party this week! Almost everything from this look (except the Hanes), came from my closet from past seasons. In fact, I forgot I even owned the scarf + found it while cleaning out my closet, for my Poshmark closet.
1. Unplug + Enjoy!
Put your phone down + enjoy the holiday season! Instagram will still be there on the 26th + no one wants to see what you ate for Christmas dinner on Snapchat!
What I Wore:
Coat: Narciso Rodriguez for DesigNation, Cocoon Coat (old). Love these coat options here + here.
Dress: Otis & Maclain (old). Love this new option from Otis & Maclain here.
I’ve lived in San Francisco the majority of my adult life, yet sometimes forget to take advantage of all the beautiful sites in my city.
A couple of weekes ago I was invited to shoot at the de Young museum. Dressed in all the Banana Republic (with a side of vintage Chanel) I hit the museum with my truty photographer + buddy, Garry.
The De Young Museum provided a beautiful background both inside + outside. I was lucky enough to go on a special tour highlighting some of the most photogenic areas of the museum.
(But since it was at night, lighting was a bit of a struggle- insert black + white)
