Golden Goose Sizing and the Best Sales
Golden Goose sneakers are all the rage these days, and I totally get it! They are so easy to slide on and go. Style them with a sweatsuit or a T-shirt and leggings. They have that effortlessly cool factor to them, and will quickly become the most worn item in your closet.
Now, I know they are an investment and they aren’t for everyone!
So keep on scrolling if they aren’t for you!
For me, I am in sneakers the majority of the time. I live in a city filled with hills and enjoy walking pretty much everywhere.
Golden Goose is an Italian brand founded by Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in 2000. They considered themselves “outsiders” in the fashion world, and never played by the rules. Perhaps that’s why they have become such a cult favorite; their authenticity and boldness paved their own way.
Golden Goose Sizing
One of the first topics I researched after deciding to take the plunge to purchase my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers was sizing. I wear a very true US size 8 – Italian size 38.
Since they are an Italian brand, the sizing is in the Italian standard. (Example: 36-42.)
We have a Golden Goose store in San Francisco so I headed over to the store in Union Square and tried on the most popular styles. Again, I wear a size a US size 8 – Italian size 38 with a thin sock and I would describe my feet as narrow.
Golden Goose Superstar Sizing – true to size
Golden Goose Midstar Sizing – size down one full size
Golden Goose Francy Sizing – size down one full size
* most Golden Goose styles only come in full sizes
Golden Goose Sales
One of the things the brand prides itself on is being extremely particular about who they let carry their shoes. Their branding must align, and it gives it more of an exclusive feel. They do smaller size runs of each style as well. (Meaning if you see one you like, scoop it up! They will sell out quickly.)
A few of the places that I have found to have GREAT selections of Golden Goose sneakers can be found below:

I’ve invested a great deal of time pricing out Golden Goose sneakers and I can say with confidence that you should NOT pay over $500 for any Golden Goose sneakers – unless they are a very special limited edition pair of shoes. Buy them from Europe and save way over $100 per pair!
