Prada Re-Edition Review
The Prada Re-Edition 2005 Shoulder Bag was easily my favorite purse purchase of 2019. But it was NOT easy to find. I searched all over the Bay Area, had a friend check for it in Hawaii, and then I eventually found it at the Prada store on Fifth Avenue in New York…after looking for it at five other Prada stores in New York!
The Re-Edition 2005 is everything one would expect from a typical Prada bag. It features the brand’s signature nylon finish with a small but recognizable logo, a chain handle, and an accompanying shoulder strap, which also includes the word “PRADA” along the side.
One of the deciding factors that lead me to the bag was the fact that it was made of nylon. Prada nylon is durable, sleek, and oh-so-easy to clean. And ff you’re wondering whether or not this nylon bag has the potential to be stylish enough for a fancy dinner or a night out, it 100% can. I love the fact that the shoulder strap detaches, allowing one to wear the bag by the chain handle.
At just about $1,200 in the US, the versatility of this bag allows for a very low cost-per-wear.
Between the affordable price, multiple ways to wear, and overall style, I say that my Prada Re-Edition review is that it has the potential to become a key style in your purse collection. Either way, I think it’s a must to have at least one nylon bag in your rotation – so why not make yours the Re-Edition 2005?
Prada Nylon Bucket Hat
Prada’s black bucket hat is crafted from nylon – a material first used by the house in 1984 to craft its now-signature backpacks. It’s hallmarked with a triangular Saffiano leather and metal logo plaque and will add a streetwear-inspired slant to your looks.
