Are slippers and sneakers a safe option for holiday gifting?

I asked myself this question the moment I had the idea for this post. I know that sneakers and slippers are NOT the most conventional holiday gift, but they are kind of the best holiday gift option. Name one person in your life you would NOT appreciate a brand new pair of comfortable yet stylish sneakers under the Christmas tree? Warm fuzzy slippers for everyone? Hell Ya!

Flares For Fall – What am I back in high school?

Nope…I graduated well over ten years ago, but flares are back and in a BIG way. From flared bell sleeves on tops + sweaters to flared leg openings on pants + denim flares are here…and I’m not mad about it.

Now let’s take a minute to chat about the flared pants that I am wearing in this post. I have worn them a couple of times on Instagram and received quite a few questions about them because they are really fu*cking flattering. First things first, they are technically workout pants. Yep, they are from Show Me Your Mumu’s activewear collection. And their Firm Stretch fabric is nice and thick with the perfect amount of stretch. These pants are perfect for being active or they make a great travel companion. They are seriously so comfy yet still provide a put together look. These workout pants are chic enough to sport on a plane and have become a staple in my closet.

Tuesday Shoesday: Slipper Talk. Stock Up On Slippers This Season.

If you are anything like me you never really think to stock up on slippers…until the holidays roll around and your mother buys you and your sister matching pajamas and slippers. OK, well maybe that hasn’t happened in YEARS, but it took a recent staycation for me to STOP and take a moment to recognize just how fabulous they are.

Slippers are an everyday necessity for me for oh-so-many reasons. The first being that I live on the 2nd floor of my building WITH A DOG. This means that every morning I drag my tired booty out of bed and take Prince Benji out in my Scuffette Slippers. These slippers are ALWAYS next to my bed and ALWAYS saving my life!

And while I wish that I needed a pair of warm cozy slippers to stay warm in San Francisco – there is NO SIGN of Fall over here, so the Abela Flip Flops are the perfect pair of shoes to bum around the house, chase the UPS man and run from my apartment to the laundry room in style.

So my advice to you is to stock up on slippers this season…before the holiday rush and they all sell out!

I just discovered these slippers from Urban Outfitters and they are my new go-to affordable slipper. The fur may be faux, but the comfort is a REAL.
