First things first let’s just be real here and talk about how my good friends at Dyson gave me this hair dryer. So NO, I did not spend $399 on the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer.

And can we also take a moment to talk about all the awful things I have done to my hair which lead to severe hair loss.You can also read about how does a hair transplant work as it can make wonders !

Ok, now that we’ve established that I hate my hair let’s chat about this $399 hair dryer. If you are like me every other hair dryer in your life came from Target and was never over $50 – so the thought of dropping almost four hundred dollars on a hair dryer sounds kind of crazy – BUT after spending three wonderful months with this hair dryer,  I would 100% drop $400 of my hard-earned dollars on this hair dryer.

WHY?

  • It has intelligent heat control technology, which helps prevent extreme heat damage to protect hair’s natural shine (lord knows I’ve done enough damage on my own).
  • The digital motor is on average six times faster, a third of the weight, and half the size of other hair dryer motors. WHAT does this mean for me? I can dry my hair in 5 minutes, it doesn’t kill my arm and it is oh-so-easy to travel with.
  • 3 magnetic attachments make styling a DREAM. The smoothing nozzle uses smooth, wide air for a sleek finish, while the styling concentrator is for precise styling. The diffuser (not for me) disperses air evenly around curls to gently dry hair and improve definition.
  • It is AWARD WINNING. The Dyson Supersonic is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner and an Allure Reader’s Choice award winner.

Why I love it?

The exercise dress is made with sweat-wicking material. Whether you are at the gym or just walking around somewhere hot AF, this dress is a yes. Are you a curvy lady? Do your thighs chafe? In a normal cotton dress my thighs are chafe city, but not when I wear this exercise dress! The shorts liner not ONLY has a side pocket for my phone it lets my thighs touch in peace.

During our recent staycation at the new Four Seasons, Embarcadero Benji finally got the restful sleep he deserves after he was introduced to the Luxury Shag Donut Self-Heating pet bed the hotel provided.

Now, Benji has never really been a big fan of a dog bed. He has consistently slept with me in my bed for the past eight years, so when he REALLY took a liking to this bed I was very surprised. He loved this bed so much, he opted to sleep in the bed alone on the floor versus with me in the luxurious Four Seasons bed!

The next morning I flipped over the bed, found the label, and ordered it!

The round design creates a protective atmosphere, while the bolstered edge gives additional orthopedic support and serves as a paw-sitively purr-fect headrest. A unique insulation layer radiates warmth from your pet’s own body heat.

How the product was invented

The bed’s inventor, Shohreh Samani, was working in the textiles business when she noticed her Pomeranian sleeping on a pile of fluffy fabric samples she was considering for one of her decorative pillow designs.

“It was an ah-ha moment,” Samani said. “I interviewed vets and trainers, who told me for a pet to get a good night’s sleep, which is crucial to their health and wellbeing, that it was important they felt a sense of shelter and security.”

So Samani set out to design a bed that was reminiscent of a mother’s fur coat. “I wanted it to have deep crevices along with walls to support the head and neck,” she said. “It also had to be malleable enough to cater to the two primary sleeping styles of dogs and cats: curling and sprawling.”

If you’re a dog owner (like me), Halloween is probably one of your favorite holidays. I mean, is there anything cuter than dressing up your furry friend?

No, I think not.

And while it’s always fun to dress up with other people, nothing tops matching dog Halloween costumes. Besides, there’s a good chance that you already do everything together; celebrating the spooky holiday should be no different!
