Pretty in Pink From the Past

DSC_0387
When I put together this look, little did I know that nearly every piece has been a part of my closet for quite an extended period of time. With the exception of the Isabel Marant pour H and M L lace top that I picked up the day of the launch (big mistake).
My closet has a pretty high turnover rate, so for these pieces to stay they must be keepers…even if they are pink!

New Years Glam + Glow

IMG_9664

I am far from a beauty blogger or expert but since I had so much fun getting ready for my New Years Eve look this year I decided to share some of my beauty details. I spent New Years Eve running around town from appointment to appointment, followed by an impromptu shoot in my apartment for Poshmark…in my closet! So needless to say it was a crazy day! I started my day with a spray tan at the oh so chic and glam Beauty Company here in SF. I love a good spray tan and I can not say enough positive things about this tan. It was quick, painless and left me looking perfectly bronzed.  Next up was a trip to the new LashSpot San Francisco for a full set of lash extensions. I have never had lash extensions and am lucky if I throw on a bit of mascara before a night out, so lash extensions seemed liked a quick and easy solve for big bold lashes.

Here are my beauty details from the night:

Face
1. Dermagolica, Age Smart Perfect Primer SPF 30 (simply the best primer)
2. Becca, The One Perfecting Brush
3. NARS, Pressed Powder
4. NARS, Blush/Bronzer Duo
5. Lashes (c/o), LashSpot San Francisco
6. Bobbi Brown, Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner
Lips
  1. Marc Jacobs Beauty, Moody Margot
  2. MAC, Lip Pencil – Spice

Cheers to a fabulous New Year,

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays

DSC_0326Nothing says Christmas like an ugly Christmas sweater t-shirt and a tutu. Right? This look is so easy and comfortable, yet it brings me back to my favorite holiday memories and the classic ‘N Sync song, “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.”

We’ll Never Be Royals [day to night in SF]

DSC_0111

The holiday season is well upon us. For me the holidays mean a ton of work and a ton of holiday parties. My day to day work look usually means a skinny jean, a flat and a little bit of sass. For this look I took my classic white (Gap) always skinny jeans and paired them with my royal blue cocoon coat. My mom scored this piece for me over a year ago and it has been in heavy rotation since. The deep royal blue color adds a luxe feel to the look (even though it is from Kohl’s).

These valentino flats are surprisingly comfortable and oh-so commute friendly. They have already survived quite a few seasons and are a timeless yet funky piece to jazz up a basic white skinny jean look. My chloe paddington tote is also a fab piece that I throw my nighttime shoes, clutch and the rest of my workday essentials into.

DSC_0122After work I am ready to get sassy and chug a martini. This means I take off my flats, throw on my heels, a bling statement necklace and downsize from tote to clutch.
