Last Sunday I had the pleasure of spending my afternoon shopping browsing the AMAZING couture collection at Joy Bianchi’s, Helpers House of Couture. Now Joy throws some major events in San Francisco and this was one of them. On top of the MAJOR collection of couture, she already houses in her 3 homes that line Golden Gate Park this was event celebrated the lives of Amber Marie Bentley and Oscar de la Renta.
Now, what does one wear to this kind of an event?
My closet is not filled with couture so I had to make it work! After a major hunt, I found this Chanel blouse (who knew) that I scored on Poshmark for $100 years ago. After all the wardrobe changes, I ended up looking like an amazing mix of Joy Bianchi and Carmen Sandiego…perfect.
I found this killer throwback picture of me wearing a McQueen cape the very first time I met Joy a year or so ago at Helpers.

I also had an amazing time catching up with fellow bloggers Angela, from Auvê Daily and Ryan aka The Little King on instagram. After 4 or 5 glasses of white wine everyone was ready to pose in front of Joy’s house! But, hey isn’t that what bloggers do?
