Last Saturday I attended the 8th annual High on the Hog event at EPIC Steak on San Francisco’s oh-so-picturesque waterfront.
I tasted all the Pinot Noir. I ate all the hog (and all the other gourmet eats).
And I asked to pet all the cute puppies there in support of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
This was THE BEST fried chicken sandwich (I know, not HOG) I have ever laid my hands on. Not sure of the details but it came from Epic and it WAS Epic.
A Kurobuta pork cap tostada from Boulevard + Prospect‘s Chef Nancy Oakes.
Great dish, great view and they were passing out tequila shots.
And an ice cream cone #shoefie for the finale of High on the Hog!
