Forget Fashion Rules!
The old fashion rule to not wear white after Labor Day is going out of style. It may have originated because people wanted to stay cool or because it was a sign of wealth. But now people are wearing white whenever they want <- and I’m with them.
For this look, I threw together a classic crepe straight coat from Theory with a trendy organza top and high-rise wide-leg jeans. The coat was a MAJOR splurge, but I honestly can’t stop wearing it and its cost per wear is slowing coming down and down. The other two pieces are far more affordable and just happen to be on promotion this week thanks to all the Labor Day sales.
