My vintage mink collection grew again this past Christmas when my mother gave me this AMAZING mink collar. This collar original belonged to my mother’s mom, my Nana and my mom had been holding on to it for some time for me. There is something just so luxurious about wearing mink! For this look I wanted it to be all about the collar, so I took this basic gold sweater from Gap and pushed it off my shoulders to highlight the collar.
After a quick online search I learned just how popular mink collar’s were in the 1950s and found quite a few in excellent condition on Etsy.

This fur one seems way more practical then the jeweled ones out there…. Creates an awesome vintage look.
